Remember that movie Ultraviolet, with the ultra violence and the ultra Milla Jovovich, which was directed by Kurt Wimmer? Well, do you remember that it received an anime adaptation a year ago? Yes, it has been awhile since we last heard about this franchise, but it’s coming back out into the limelight, because during a press release Sony hinted that the anime will be “coming out in [the] US soon.” Ultraviolet: Code 044, I hear good things about this show, and I hear bad things. Most of it seems to be negative, but it also has lots of action, so it can’t be that bad. It also was directed by Osamu Dezaki, who also directed Ashita no Joe, Aim For The Ace!, and some Lupin III films. I’m curious, are any of you excited about this release?  [Via ANN]
