Gin reveals his bankai. If you ever need to clear cut a patch of forest, Gin is the man to call. Summary: While Aizen and Isshin are busy fighting, Gin and Ichigo start talking smack to each other. Gin boasts that in his bankai, his sword is 13km long. Gin releases bankai and swings his super long sword through some buildings and at Ichigo, but Ichigo blocks the blow and sends a Getsuga at Gin. Gin survives but appears to be bloodied. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ So Gin's bankai only makes his sword longer? If that's the case, it's pretty disappointing. Hopefully that won't be the case, but initial impressions are not that great especially how Ichigo managed to stop the slash without using his mask and then appear to draw blood with a regular Getsuga. Gin better have some other tricks up his sleeves or this fight is going to go downhill really fast. It'd be fun if Gin turned this into a sniper fight where Gin can use the buildings for cover and shoot at Ichigo from far away. Anyways, Gin needs to do something to make himself look credible, because right now that bankai of his only looks good for clear-cut logging.
