A certain somebody gets off her last words.
The Sekirei Plan is a cruel game.
Summary:
Uzume throws herself in front of Minato and is pierced from the back by Sai's throwing knife. Sai deactivates after tossing the knife, and Uzume is gravely injured and lies in Minato's arms. With her last breath, Uzume wants Minato to take care of Chiho for her, and Minato agrees. At MBI, Chiho senses that Uzume has been deactivated and starts crying.
Back in front of the Izumo Inn, Minato, Homura and Kazehana are still in front of the inn with Uzume when MBI's Sekirei retrieval truck shows up. To Minato and company's surprise, the retrieval crew is led by Natsuo, Benitsubasa and Haihane.

No surprises here other than the Disciplinary Squad showing up for collections at the end of chapter. Uzume saves someone from Minato's camp, tells Minato to look after Chiho, and makes her sudden departure from the story, and thus the manga and anime story lines are more or less the same again. I guess Uzume's departure is pretty "dramatic". I was hoping the manga would top what the anime had, but for consistency's sake the scenarios became very similar.
Now that Uzume and Chiho are out of the story, it's back to the good old Disciplinary Squad again. It's curious that Natsuo and his Sekireis came out for a retrieval task, but it doesn't appear that they are at the inn to pick a fight, so the chances of a battle happening are not that high. Hopefully the story will move on to how Minato's crew is going to kick Higa's ass.
