Ichigo struggles against Ulquiorra's true form.Summary:After slicing off part of Ichigo's masked, Ulquiorra presses on with another attack. Back inside the dome, Ishida looks at the hole in the "sky" and realizes that the whole "sky" is fake. Ishida turns and see Orihime looking upwards with concern in her eyes, and so he assures her that Ichigo will win this battle.Ichigo tries to paint Ulquiorra's clothes black so that they match with his wings.On top of the dome, Ichigo is sent sprawling by Ulquiorra's next attack, but Ichigo uses the time to regenerate his mask. Ulquiorra follows up quickly and tells Ichigo to use Getsuga against him so he can show Ichigo the difference between their power. Ichigo unleashes a full-power Getsuga Tensho at the Ulquiorra, but the powerful espada powers his way through the dark energy wave. Ulquiorra states that Ichigo's Getsuga is a bit like his cero, and the espada unleashes a pitch black "Cero Oscuras" at Ichigo.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~A run-of-the-mill combat chapter. Ichigo is being overwhelmed as expected, and it doesn't look like our hero has any more tricks up his sleeve. I'm not sure what Ichigo can do at this point. I guess he can either get in touch with his hollow-half and Zengetsu again to get more power, or somebody is going to have to show up and help. Since Bleach typically features one on one fights, I'm guessing it's the former. It doesn't look plausible now, but Ichigo will win somehow.
