I thought that this is going the Glee way as the story progresses. Nooooooope, it did not.
First of all, I still adhere to the belief that Wakana is the secret character here (hence the term #TheDarkWakanaRises). I believe Takagaki Kagayaki has influence in this series.
Yes, Wakana. Her mom is the vice principal’s classmate. The vice principal suffers from personality problems. This is one big connection.
On to Taichi and WEIN (Wein~), they are being stupefied by those manuals that they got there. It’s like they’re practicing for a funky weird game show.
Wakana’s dad is the man. He didn’t proposed to his wife, he’s not bragging that he’s a ladies’ man, and he keeps remembrances from his beloved wife — including that piano in which we thought that it was thrown away.
Wakana’s mom is much badass — she wanted Wakana to be tough (but not snotty). Her reasons are legit, safe to say.
…and that’s everything all I got to say regarding the latest episode.

Life can be a little dark sometimes. Because we’re selfish & take everything we have for granted, we wound up losing sight of what’s most precious, including the things we always had within us. The hardest part is not realizing how important something is until you’ve lost it. Maybe that’s why I foresaw Wakana’s regret [...]

Am I the only one who’s creeped out by this whole story with Wakana’s mother? She seems to believe that Wakana could never want to do anything else other than make music. Like mother, like daughter. Now, I’m not going … Continue reading →

The choir club is finally all assembled with Wakana’s mother issues resolved (at least, I assume they’re resolved). I was wondering about that promise of making the song together…but I guess having Wakana finish up the song that her mother started is a good way of getting that done. Also, despite how amusing she was, [...]

Awwww… glad Wakana finally resolved her regrets and picked herself back up. Finally, she sings! Don’t worry, Konatsu. I don’t think anyone will notice either way. Man, this mother and daughter combo…. I’m really surprised how Sawa’s dad landed her mom. That sounds like an interesting story to hear about. *ahem*… *ahem* *ahem* *ahem* Hahaha, [...]

As Wakana catches a cold, stuff starts to settle down regarding her mother. After watching the last episode, it was just downright depressing. She used to get along with her cheerful mother. Sadly, gotten angrier as time went on. I just felt that getting rid of her mother’s stuff isn’t going to make the grief [...]

Wakana catches a cold and misses the first days of school. Konatsu visits with cake and they talk about promises made to dead relatives. Wakana stops by Sawa’s to pick up a copy of her mother’s class, along with a tape of her singing. Sawa lets Wakana ride Sabure, mentioning the rift with her father. [...]

You ever have one of those days when nothing is going right? Welcome to the world of Wakana as we left last week's episode of Tari Tari, with storms raging outside and a missing cat putting the proverbial boot in as she continues to struggle to come to terms with the loss of her mother.
Between this stress and searching for said cat out in the rain, it's almost inevitable that Wakana ends up

Blastid P.A.Works! They’re now applying some of the tricks they’ve learned with Angel Beats! writing for Tari Tari? This wouldn’t look nice to the depressed and with enough emotional trauma/wounds, I say, and I think the episode title is misleading. Also, what’s with the current season that there are some ...The post Tari Tari 06 – Laughing and Remembering appeared first on The dere-moe Project.
